Hi Friends,
I recently faced a interview for a Dubai opportunity, please someone tell me the asking salary there.
1. Interview went well.
2. Got more than 5 years of experience.
3. 4 years in EAI (MB,WMQI,MQ)

Please also tell me the rough expenses over there.

Thanks

dubai is expensive , depends on how you move there , if it is with family it is mighty expensive to get a pretty decent accomodation.
children's education is also a costly affair I have heard.
If they give u housing i guess 15K AED or above should be OK.

I've heard the standard over there is that after all is said and done, you wind up with a bowl of rice every day, two on Sunday.

Not in the Gulf - very nice standard of living. If you can afford it (which is down to negociations!)

Expensive for families I've heard. I've known people who've gone out for a year, left the wife & kids behind & come back with 5 years salary.

I do not speculate on other possible reasons for leaving their nearest and dearest behind....

15K AED per what, if I may inquire?

pardon me .. per month .. but housing seems to be pretty costly .. with prices hovering around 50K AED/yr for a decent 2 bed apartment in Dubai ..
another option would be to commute to work (if it is in Dubai) by stayin in Sharjah or Abu-Dubai .. but i heard the traffic is horrible ..

I think I got the answer, I also did some research.
Findings:
1. Accomodation is very costly 3000 - 6000 (for studio and 1 BHK)
2.Lots of people stay in sharing to save money.
3.Food you get all sorts, from cheap to costly depending upon from where you have it.
3. Car loan will come to 1500dir to 2000 dir for a decent car.

So try to bargain for a salary more than 15K if you want make some decent savings.

Correct me friends if I am wrong somewhere.
