Does anybody know of a way to determine when a particular queue manager was suspended (or resumed)? .... and reaching further... by whom issued the command?

Do I have to do a log dump?

Thanks,
Jason.

It would have to be a member of the mqm group, or someone who knows the mqm password, so that should narrow the field if security's set properly!

The queue manager log would record the command being issued, but I don't think it records who issued it (on the design principle that it must have been one of the privlidged few I've listed above).

I don't quite see what a log dump would achieve.....

Thanks....

I just noticed that a queue manager was suspended, so I was wondering how long it has been in this state. (I suspect several days)

As far as security goes....anyone with root could do a su to mqm id without knowing the mqm password as well. (at least in our environment)

I suspect it was an aix guy performing maintenance on a server and forgot to resume it.

And how many people are going to have root?
