Hi All
I had a problem when installing wbimb6.0 ,i had installed all the prerequisites and when trying to create the default configuration manager i am getting an error as
ERROR: This Wizard has been disabled as no locally installed broker runtimes are present
I did not install any fix packs for mb6.0 |

did u by any chance miss out on installing the broker runtime ?
from V 6 onwards the runtime is a seperate installation from the toolkit..

The softwares i had installed are
1.db2 8.2 udb
2.wbimq6.0
3.mdac2.8
4.ibm rational agent controller
5.toolkit6.0
6.messagebroker 6.0 |

so in start-->programs->IBM Message Broker 6 -> do u get the command console option ?
if so ..open that and try an mqsilist command.
even if it does not return anything , if it says completed successfuly that means that you have your runtime installed properly.

dis u started ur windows service...go to servive--->ie right click my computer-->manage-->services-->here u can see ur IBM MQ services & Broker & Config Manger service--->please start it...hope u already done it...Thanks _________________ Jain Varghese |

How can he start the service. He can't create it.
