A big fan of the RFHUtil SupportPac, I have just migrated to LINUX.
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to put/get files to/from MQ in a LINUX world. And then I mean a graphical one like RFHUtil (I know AMQSPUT/GET). _________________ / Boolean |

Have you tried RFHUtilc ??
Set the value of the MQServer variable in the QMGR field... for the connection.... _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

That would only help if Boolean's desktop were still a windows machine...
The Message Broker Toolkit 6.0.2.0 Test tool is something to look at.
And MQVisualEdit, of course. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Yes, the RFHUtil graphical client is only for Windows as well ...
The Test tool, Jeff - is that a new one or do you mean the GET/PUT options from the menu? _________________ / Boolean |

Hello Boolean,
Rfhutilc is used to connect the remote machines. You can connect Linux machina also using Rfhutlic....This is different from Rfhutil.... _________________ With Regards,

RFHUtil, in either form, is an EXE/Windows only program.
Boolean is running Linux AS HIS/HER DESKTOP. Boolean wants to connect FROM linux, not connect TO linux.
The Test tool is new in the 6.0.2.x tooling. I do not mean the "Enqueue/dequeue" files. If you're running 6.0.2.0 Toolkit, then right click on a flow and say "test this flow" or something like that. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Not graphical, but very powerful is the q program (SupportPac MA01).
(generally Unix-Users like command line tools )
If you insist on graphical tools: What's about the MQ-Explorer? It is also available on Linux . _________________ Regards

The test tool is developed by the Broker development team.
RFHUtil is not.
Ergo, I can't say that it's a replacement. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
