I set all variables. I even add the mqseries \java\lib path to both of variables (system and user, for path variable an also to CLASSPATH). |
Changes to system environment variables may not take effect until after the system has been rebooted. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Hi all,
A small question regarding this mqjbnd05.dll : is it related to MQ5.3 only or previous version ?
I have a user complaining that his (WebSphere) application can't find this library, but we're using MQ 5.2 and Java Classes 5.2.1 ... could it be a problem due to mismatch between WS libraries and MQ libraries ? _________________ Alain Buret

It could definitely be a problem of a mismatch. You need to make sure that you have all of your MQ components on the same system at the right level. Some non-MQ products would ship versions of the MQ jars and this could get you into trouble without even knowing it.
However, in earlier releases, the mqjbnd05 was usually an 04 or smaller. I'd also suggest that you move up from MQ 5.2 to WMQ 5.3. MQ 5.2 is no longer supported. |

I have WebSphere MQ Client installed on my XP machine. I can't locate mqjbnd05 file anywhere. Am I missing something? |

mqjbnd05 is used for a bindings connection. You don't use it to client connect. |

In most newer CSDs / versions you are required to change the properties of the MQEnvironment class.
In JMS you need to set the correct properties in the JNDI layer. (transport, host, port, channel). They are properties of the QCF/TCF.

NO, it's not possible.
If your company policy is preventing you from performing the duties of your job, then either your company policy needs to change or your duties need to change, or an exception needs to be made.
Start by bringing this to the attention of your supervisor. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
