Salary: GBP £45,000 + Bonus & Benefits
MIDDLEWARE SPECIALIST
Our client, a Top 5 UK Bank, is looking for Middleware specialists with experience within the following areas:
• Broker design and build experience using both message flows and message sets. Broker tracing on W2K and AIX
• WBIMB 5.x Toolkit on W2K with brokers on W2K and AIX
• Good working knowledge of payments messaging infrastructure
• Knowledge of DB2 architecture, design and build. SQL
• WMQSeries 5.3 design, build and implementation on multi platforms
• MQ Broker 5.0 & MQ Broker 6.0
• CONNECT:Direct Secure + experience.
• Working knowledge of project management disciplines
Connect Direct specific:
• Defining and configuring CD across multiple platforms ie. Mainframe, Unix, Windows, Tandem.
• Testing/proving end2end connectivity and problem diagnosis
• Deployment of Secure+ encrytion.
• Technical implementation of large scale projects
The role will require development work for Project related new business, and involve building and development work around the above technologies, prior to implementation and going live. There could therefore be some testing involved within this role.
Any experience within banking or financial services would be beneficial. Ideally the candidate will have worked in a similarly large blue chip organisation.
