Hello,

( 1) May I know what's the usage of the following queues in cluster qmgrs:
1. SYSTEM.CLUSTER.COMMAND.QUEUE
2. SYSTEM.CLUSTER.REPOSITORY.QUEUE
3. SYSTEM.CLUSTER.TRANSMIT.QUEUE
( 2) What is the cause if the queue depth of the above queues are > 0? Is it ok? Any rectification?
Is there any more system cluster queues which I have missed out?
( 3) Pls advise. Thank you.

.Hoe San.

Hello,

( 1) Thanks for your URL.
( 2) What is the cause if the queue depth of the above queues are > 0? Is it ok or it signifies problem? Any rectification?
( 3) I recently read about something called "subscriptions" on cluster qmgrs. Any expert wana share/explain?
Thanks.

From URL above:

These queues typically contain large numbers of messages.

Are you talking about pub/sub subscriptions ?
Can you give us any context.

Qmgrs which are part of a cluster use the pub/sub paradigm to exchange cluster metadata between the full and repos qmgrs.
Partial repos qmgrs publish data about the qmgr and the cluster queues to the full repos qmgrs, and subscribe to data about other qmgrs and queues in the cluster.
Full repos qmgrs publish data about qmgrs and queues to the subscribers, i.e. the other qmgrs in the cluster.

Hello,

( 1) If I can recall correctly, the word "subscription" came when I was searching for system.cluster.command.queue and I saw an article mentioning "problem in the repository subscription code leading to these errors". I guessed is some terminlogy use by IBM for clustering concepts.
( 2) Any clue on what's "subscription"?
Thanks.
