Hi,
Our first application if moving to production and we need to make sure our Broker is configured properly. I have followed all the instruction in the docs.
Our application is very small may be couple thousand messages per day and very small size. We have V6 Broker and good size win hardware.
Can any buddy please highlight any important configuration points i should look for Broker.

ah... so the developer has been using his own local broker on his development machine and now you need to setup a test broker on a controlled environment, just like it would be in production? _________________ Michael

1) Script the broker creation
2) script the execution group creation
3) script the .bar file deployment.
Then you have a reproducable system. moving EASILY from DEV to TEST to PROD is all about reproduction. SCRIPT, SCRIPT and SCRIPT again.
Then make everyone understan that deploying to TEST of PROD via the Toolkit is an offence punishable by instant dismissal (You get my drift. A total NO NO Never)
If the system gets screwed up(eg by deploying an untested .bar file..), dropping the broker and running the scripts to seteverything up should take a few minutes and get you back to a stable system again.

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.
