Hi,
I created Q managers, Queues and channel (server conncetion channel_ is JAVA.CHANNEL in MQ6.0 on windows 2003 server. Afterthat, configured the queues in admin console in WAS6.1. Channel is conneted and queues are running. When restart the MQ, all channels are stopped. Please let me know, how to restart the channel.
Thanks,

Apart from why it is not good practice to name your channel JAVA.CHANNEL (See earlier posts using Search button) here is the explanation:
You cannot start a svrconn channel from the server. You need to have the connecting application reestablish connection.
The only way you can "start" a svrconn channel is if it has been stopped before...
If you issue the start chl command on a svrconn channel, the channel will then go back into inactive mode and get active only when a client reestablishes connection...
