In Morning found that MQ servers were down, On checking the even viewer on windows found following message

Error code 20 starting CPHMETST/Command Server WebSphere MQ service.

The service was unable to start CPHMETST/Command Server. The error message reported was as follows: Process could not be started - return code 20

Use WebSphere MQ Services to investigate why the service could not begin. If recovery for this service is active, MQ will attempt to recover.

Can anyone please advise how MQ Services can be used to investigate the root cause of the issue.

Look for queue manager logs and FDC files. Log files for the queue manager are kept in (usually) C:\Program Files\IBM\Websphere MQ\<QMgr Name>\errors. FDC files can be found in C:\Program Files\IBM\Websphere MQ\errors. That's assuming you did a standard install.
