Hi All,

Im running Broker V6.0.0.3 on windows 2003 server edition w/ SP1

Everytime i try to stop the broker..it hangs and says cant stop broker.
also when no messge flows are deplyed and only one EG grp (default) is runnning. the broker process(bipbroker.exe) takes 100% CPU.
I hv tried almost everything , I dont understand why?

Is it because of SP1?

any insight into this would be much appreciated.

thanks

We had a similar issue few months back.

Try with mqsistop -i <broker>. Stop broker qmgr, if reqd with -i flag. Then kill the process still running for broker and quemanager and restart all.

One of the most common is where a flow has its output node Queue Name identical to the input node Queue Name.

There are other causes of the problem you are seeing. It is probably not duw to Windows Server 2005 SP1 (unless it in incorrectly installed that is)

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.
