Hi,
Pls guide me if we can use ovelapping cluster for worlkload management and high availability of application in case of fail over of one cluster. Pls also suggest any good tutorial in this regard.

Clusters are not suitable for use as a high availability solution, due to the "stuck messages" problem. Use the search button for many discussions on the subject - it's a common topic and my rant about why it's not a good idea has been repeated many times.

Slight caveat - if you're using v6 you can reduce this problem with careful use of the advanced clustering parameters. But only reduce it.

(It remains of course only my opinion and depends a lot on your requirements. If you can cope with serious message delay and/or loss then it might be ok as an HA).

I'm also unconvinced of the value added by using overlapping clusters for workload balancing. It would work (probably) but what are the advantages over a single large cluster?

(It's a question - how do you see an overlapping cluster meeting your requirements better than a single one?)
