This might be a bit of a simple questions but I have been looking around and I haven't managed to find an answer:

We are using MQ to pick up messages sent from Weblogic. We need to make sure that none of the messages are lost so we want to make sure all the messages are persistent. Is there a way of making the weblogic messages persistent? They don't appear to have the same message descriptor information as MQ messages have.

Hi

Thats the difference between Weblogic and IBM MQ series.

you have to do some round about thing to solve this issue.

Hi

Weblogic will help you do some java programs,

so can't you call the MQ API's and place the messages to the MQ as in persistent mode.

Please think of this. this is one good option in my mind.

Current scenario
Weblogic <--> MQ Series

Proposed scenario

Weblogic(Java MQ API (persistent mode) ) <-->MQ Series

Check your JNDI setup and use the JMS API to ensure persistency on the messages...
