After getting "out of memory" errors on java compute node, we increased the jvmMaxHeapSize to 2GB

Now the execution groups will not start, broker FFST files are generated. The FFST files include text like this:

(0xd7788090+0x00000410) xmPanic [/opt/IBM/mqsi/6.0/jre/bin/sovvm/libjvm.a]
(0xd7833e9c+0x000000e0) initializeMarkAndAllocBits [/opt/IBM/mqsi/6.0/jre/bin/sovvm/libjvm.a]
(0xd7837060+0x00000b70) stInit [/opt/IBM/mqsi/6.0/jre/bin/sovvm/libjvm.a]

How can the jvm size be reset (where is this information stored). I was not able to locate "jvmMaxHeapSize" in /var/mqsi directory. Since the broker is in an endless loops of starts/stops we have not been able to successfully use the mqsichangeproperties nor has deleting the execution solved the problem.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

I think that the same way you raised it is the same way to lower it?

What did you do to raise it? Did you run mqsichangeproperties?

it was raised to resolve "out of memory"

The mqsichangeproperties is not responding - probably due to the fact that the broker keeps crashing.

Any suggestions?
