Hello All!
We have an operational MQ link between 2 companies, which operates over via a VPN (the VPN is invisble to the end servers). One server is an Iseries, and the other a Windows machine. They currently work OK and no NATting is taking place.
We need to migrate to an alternative VPN, which means we must NAT the Iseries address.
During the change window, the Iseries MQ link was not reconfigured as it is still sending to the exisitng address, however, the Windows machine was reconfigured as it now needs to send to a NAT address (the NAT is happening on a VPN Concentrator).
Once these changes are made, we can ping between the two machines, but the MQ links will not come up. I can see traffic from the Windows machine coming throught the VPN concentrator and being NATted, but the Iseries seems not to respond and the link is never set up?
Can anyone help point us in the right direction as to where we are going wrong? |

First thing is to make sure that any DNS names you are using are resolving correctly.
Second thing to do is to make sure you can TELNET to the LISTENER PORT on the other side, from both sides.
If you can't do that, then it's likely that the port is being blocked.
Third thing to do, after both those other things work, is to check for channel sequence number errors. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
