Can someone tell me what exactly CSQCTRUE does or how it performs in a CICS distributed queueing environment???

I understand that it is a program and the main adapter in CICS for MQ. What I want to know is what is CSQCTRUE's function?

Is this a syncpoint cordinator??

Sorry about the amount of questions...

TRUE's are Task-Related User Exits in CICS. This one is invoked at CICS adapter restart to resync in-flight CICS-MQ units of work.

Read "Recovering CICS units of recovery manually" in the MQ V6 z/OS System Admin Guide.

Every MQ API call from CICS passes through CSQCTRUE on its way to the queue manager and back, among other things it ensures that MQ participates in the CICS UOW, creates the correct parameter list for invoking the queue manager, calls the MQ API crossing exit.
