MQ v5.3 (Client) trying to connect to MQ v5.3 CSD4, using amqsputc command.

But it's not connecting...also NOT giving errors
It just waiting for the connection.

I tried the following
1) MCA user id in SERVER=Administrator..(Which is the same as in Client side)
2)MQSERVER environment variable in Client side

But still no effect.

My querie are
1) Is there any problem of CSD4 on Server side / Client side.?
2) Is there anyother issues.?

1) CSD 4 is very, very old. It may have some problems and even if you get past this you could encounter other problems. Upgrade to a newer version (CSD 11 or later)

2) Administrator is too long as a user id for MQ. Use mqm as the MCA user to obtain the effect you're looking for (on the understanding it's a security risk for all the reasons posted in this forum on a regular basis )
