is there an easy way to get the current layout mq configuration
showing dependancies between qmanagers, queues, channels, remote queues etc.. i.e, all mq objects ? |

Yes. Consult the documentation you've prepared on your infrastructure that shows this information...
Most of this information is not actually in the MQ infrastructure. But if you poke around here for "MQDocument" it might help. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

If you are new to the environment, i'd recommend using something like Visio to manually document the environment. At least this way you'll understand how it all hangs together. You could then use MQDocument to verify your understanding. _________________ Regards

Support Pac MO71 can automatically draw network diagrams for you based on channels. |

A good source of information: the MQ V6 System Administration Guide. Towards the back are charts/diagrams depicting the location of MQ things in the file-system. |
