The IS02 page says my WMQExplorer needs to have Eclipse 3.0.2. I just installed WMQ 6.0.2.0 on my PC yesterday, and the WMQExplorer help says my Eclipse is 3.0.1.

I also have the broker toolkit installed and it shows Eclipse 3.0.2. How do I go about updating the Eclipse for WQMExplorer, or set WMQExplorer to use the same Eclipse that is already there for broker toolkit?

Try running the Help -> Software Updates -> Find and Install.

Mine was updated to 3.0.2 as part of an MQ update.

Cheers,

Thanks EddieA. Only thing is my WMQExplorer Help-> does not include Software Updates as an option (Help-> in the BROKER toolkit does offer that choice). I'll keep poking around.

I always forget this, as I did it so long ago. You need to switch the Explorer to a "normal" Eclipse workbench. The IS02 documentation explains how. Once you switch, and re-start, the "normal" options under Help will be available.

Cheers,

IS02 docment saying that we can start, stop, create Message flows,exegroups,Brokers....means to say that it works for all Broker Administration for local and remote like a tool kit

For tool kit we don't need to Install Message Broker on the same box if we want to use remote broker administration.

But for IS02 do we need to install Message Broker on the same machine to administer the remote Brokers( windows in my case)????

I just installed this Brokerplugin into MQExplorer and I am not seeing all the options like to remove the message flows.( I don't have Message Broker beacuse I want to manage Brokers on AIX ). when I right click on message flow in Explorer i am seeing just stop, usertrace, statistics options... only
Some thing wrong with my installation or still IS02 doesn't have remote administratioin features fully

Thank you

Have you connected to the ConfigMgr from the Explorer. Some functions are only available after you have done that.

Cheers,

Hello Trainee,
The menus are context sensitive so you can only remove a message flow if it has been stopped. This is to stop you removing running message flows by accident.
