Hi.
I am new and practicing WMQ on Linux. I delete user-ID "mqm" without uninstalling WQM. And once again I created user-Id "mqm" using "useradd mqm -g mqm". I am getting AMQ8101-An internal Websphere MQ error has occurred" when I am running "runmqsc QM1" command. Thanks.

check the user id number under which the mqm directories are (if you did not already chown it).

You need to change the new mqm user to that user id #.

Otherwise you are good to reinstall the application as it is bound to the userid # and groupid#.

Enjoy

amqsput,

I guess, you are not only new to MQ but also new to Linux and Unix. Your questions are not at all specific to MQ.

I suggest, to read some Linux or Unix docs or take some education, before asking Unix questions in this forum!
