This is the link to all the MQ manuals. Pick the version that you need.

To get you started, I'll give you some hints. You need to look at the System Admin manual, then drill down to Configuring MQ and then look around in Changing Queue Manager Configuration information. You'll find all the log parameters defined.
The manuals are actually quite good, there are just a lot of them to go through. |

Also the performance reports, although very detailed give you clues on how to set the logbufferpages for your particular use and platform _________________ Michael

When you crtmqm (create a queue manager) you get to specify a variety of logging options. As above, look at the System Admin Guide. Start with crtmqm; look for -lc, -ll, -lf, -lp, and so on. Also in the System Guide is a chapter on Recovery, that describes how logs are used for recovery, and how to calculate the size of logs. |
