hi

i get one error in toolkit when ever i deploy the bar file to broker:
BIP1536S: The Configuration Manager was unable to register for internal subscriptions with broker WSUGTS001.
BIP4040I: The Execution Group 'US2006EG' has processed a configuration message successfully.
BIP2056I: Broker WSUGTS001 successfully processed the entire internal configuration message.

configmgr & broker (v6.0.0.3)on same box(aix) and use the same id to start both of them, channels defined correctly, no mq errors, but in broker log, i see the follwoing error codes along with BIP1536S:
BIP2087E, BIP2062E, BIP2064E

infact i didn't get such error earlier when deployed the same bar to another execution grp. moreover i don't get this 1536 error when a complete deployment is done. it each time comes up with success msgs alone.

could someone help me fixing this issue?? Thanks in advance!

Did you go through the Diagnostic Messages search page in the Info Center for each of those BIP codes?

Did you read the full text of the errors behind those BIP codes in the system log?

Well, I guess I'm too lazy to look them up myself.

Can you provide more detail?

ok, here's wat needs to be fixed:

right after a successful complete deployment, if i try to deploy a bar file, it's throwing this error message along with success msgs:
***
BIP1536S: The Configuration Manager was unable to register for internal subscriptions with broker WSUGTS001

Although the preceding deploy operation was successful, a subsequent attempt by the Configuration Manager to register for internal subscriptions with broker WSUGTS001 was not successful. This means that Message Brokers Toolkit and Config Manager Proxy applications may not show the correct status of the resources assigned to broker WSUGTS001 .

Look in the system log for messages that indicate the cause of this problem. Correct the cause and redeploy to this broker. If this problem persists, contact your IBM support center.
***
just want to get rid of this error. no mq errors in configmgr qmgr and broker qmgr. in broker logs, i see error msgs with similar description, but nothing like missing authorizatoins (as in many posts relating to this error)
hope this is clear enough!

It may be that your ConfigMgr and Broker are out of sync entirely.

Try doing a full topology deploy and see what happens...

Or if this is a production system and you don't want to play around... Open a PMR.

luckily, this is not prod! i did a full topology deploy and there weren't any errors, but success msgs alone.
i again tried to deploy a bar file to a diff exec grp, but it's still throwing the same error msg along with the success msgs. wud it help to restart the components?

Does mqsilist <broker> show a different set of execution groups than the Toolkit?

Hmm, yeah!

when i did a mqsilist on broker box, it's showing all the exec grps tht i created, but not the exec grp created by one of the dev's (just for testing)! i have changed the acl permissions recently so that no one else can create stuff, but only deploy. do you think this might have had disturbed the synchronization?

i deleted that eg, but still see a 'test' exec grp when did a mqsilist. i don't see it in toolkit or configmgr proxy api exerciser. when i tried to delete it using command line, it says the exec grp was not found! is there a way to get rid of that exec grp?

Do a search on phantom execution group...

but in my case, there are no phantom exec grps left anymore. i did search, but all the posts ended where they got rid of these phantoms!

is there something which i shud be doing to further synchronize the broker and configmgr?

It's just that the accepted way was to change the status information on the execution group and not to delete it from the table.

Use the java API exerciser and highlight the broker in question. Right click and run resubscribe to default status topics or some such wording...
