Just a question about the BLOCKIP2 logging... I added the LogFormat=NDC; option in my config file (unix) - and it is creating the 'daily' log just fine. My question is that it is also creating the original log (blockip2.log) - is there a way to have only the 'daily' log file created?

Thanks

It depends on the version of BlockIP2 and you config file.

See PM.

But, should you really be trusting your enterprise security to a basically unsupported solution?

This is not the whole 'enterprise' solution, simply a 'quick' in for a project. Basically a way to control the number of channels started by the client - and to make sure their development environment does not connect to the production env by mistake...

Long term, I have been 'pushing' the Standard Security Exit from Capitalware - I tested it waaaay back and was quite impressed with it. Once I can get managements buy in - it will be the 'solution'

Thanks for the compliment.

If you want or need to redo the free 30-day trial or if you have any questions, then please let me know.
