Does anybody know what is the maximum number of app database connections that the message broker can handle?
I couldn't find any clue from IBM's docs. Does it mean there's no limitation at all? My problem is that one of my msgflow hit the max allowed dbconnect number and generate "db2 package not found" err. Our DBA increased the allowed connection number from 5 to 10. What if it fails again?

Thanks Frank, very good information.
This probably goes too far...we have this message flow configed with "Additional Instances=10" in the BAR file and our DBA has increased the CLIPKG value to 10 after we bumped to the problem at first time. But after a little while, we encountered the same problem again. do you know how the broker's instances (threads) work with the db2 client bind package? Why it ran out of bind package so quickly even though we already made these 2 number in snyc?

Here is the error log...
(0x03000000):Text = '[IBM][CLI Driver][DB2] SQL0805N Package "DB0
3.NULLID.SYSLH20A.5359534C564C3031" was not found. SQLSTATE=51002 '

I don't really know how broker works with the db2 client bind package.

But "Additional Instances=10" means that broker runs 11 instances of flow if needed, so you can have 11 DB connections.
