I recently attended an IBM POT for WBI6.
The WBI6 Toolkit for the labs had the MQ Explorer available in the perspective toolbar (top right).
That is, MQExplorer was an available Perspective from the pulldown window.
I would like to know how to implement MQ Explorer in my WBI6 Toolkit.
I have the Eclipse version of MQ V6 installed and operational.
I think Bob knows how to do this

Anyone know how to do this?

Thanks.

Bob?

I've posted some previous instructions, I think.

Copy stuff from Eclipse30SDK/features, /plugins, and /links

then restart wmbt -clean

Hi Jeff,

Sorry, but I was trying to be discrete...and not name names
Bob is the IBM person who presented the class.

I don't quite understand your instructions about copy stuff.
Could you point me at where you posted how to do this? Or a manual?
Where should I copy this stuff to?
I have RAD6 and WMBT both running out of the same directoies (Eclipse).
Install and Updater take a long time so I'd rather not ruin both if I can help it.

Also, I have previously installed the Starteam plugin before into WSAD 5.1.2 via Help>SoftwareUpdates>Pending Changes after first running the Starteam plugin install...I was rather hoping that I could use a similar process for adding the MQExplorer plugin (Eclipse) to the newer RAD6/WMBT version?

Thanks.

When you installed MQ Explorer, you also had to install IBMEclipseSDK30.

There will be a folder for that somewhere, possibly C:\Program Files\IBM\EclipseSDK30 or some such.

Under that, there will be eclipse\plugins, eclipse\features, and eclipse\links.

Copy all com.ibm.mq stuff from those individual folders to the same named folders under <toolkit install>\eclipse\

Start the toolkit using the wmbt command, and add "-clean" to it.
