Check out the AppWatch v4 manuals - event monitoring rules can send an Email, or run a script. I have it sending me Emails right now!

It's not a full-blown system management tool (thank goodness) but it does what we need right now pretty much, and for a modest price.

It's much more suitable for application developers and support staff than most sytem mangement tools, which are more for system MQ admin purposes (something we outsource to IBM GS.).
