Hi,
A new SupportPac MA1M : Using IBM WebSphere MQ on z/OS with DFSORT has been recently published. This software comprises of two DFSORT exits that can be used to read/write into MQ queues. Some of the features involved are :
Retrieve messages destructively or non-destructively.
Show/hide MQ Message Descriptor of the messages unloaded from the queue.
Ability to provide any number of options (MQPMO, MQGMO, etc.) in the same way as IBM defines them.
Select/omit messages based on values in MQ Message Descriptor values either in alphanumeric or hexadecimal.
Insert MQ Message Descriptor values.
Select/omit messages based on Message ID and/or Correlation ID values either in alphanumeric or hexadecimal.
Insert Message ID and/or Correlation ID in alphanumeric or hexadecimal.
Sort message data depending on the data type and/or locale before loading into the queue or after unloading from the queue.
Issue commit implicitly or at a user-defined frequency.
All other features provided by DFSORT can be used before/after loading/unloading the queue.
