Hi,
I have a MQ sender and receiver channels created. When i start the channel, it always shows binding.. or retrying..
It sometimes shows running, but that is just for a second or so.
I checked the IP and port everything is correct.
MQIPT is also running on both the machines. Please help in resolving this issue. |

You should find more details in the queue manager logs.
I'd guess you have firewall / MQIPT / network issues from your description. Assuming neither channel is STOPPED. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

The logs under /var/mqm/log/<QMGR>/active/ directory contains mostly special characters. (@#$ etc).
Is this the correct log or any other logs are there. |

Still the wrong logs.
For channel errors, look in /var/mqm/qmgrs/QMGR/errors _________________ MQSeries.net helps those who help themselves.. |

Thanks for your help.
Actually the problem was sequence number mismatch between Qmgrs.
So as per instructions in the error logs, i reset the channel and restarted it.
Then it worked fine.
Thnx
