I need to apply latest refresh pack 6.0.2.0 on HP-UX itanium server for MQ server V6.0. I would like to know whether queue managers needs to be restarted after applying the refresh pack or before applying pack.

Curently applications are using the queue managers

The normal around here, is shutdown the QMGR and install the RP and then start up the QMGR after the RP install is complete.

Hi

you can restart the qmgr after applying the RP.

but you should do

strmqm -c <qmgr_name>
then issue strmqm again
