Hi ,
we have a database CCSID conversion problem.
LINUX Red Hat
Websphere Message Broker 6.0.0.3
DB2 8.1.11
Both users (db2, mqsi) have LANG=hu_HU environment settings.
We would like to use hungarian characters, so the database has 8859-2 CCSID. The broker was set to 912 CCSID (I checked it with "mqsservice -v" and It is OK.).
When we issue a SELECT statement, that would contain hungarian national characters we got this error:
BIP2135E: Source character 'c1' in field 'c1e1c9e9dbfbdafad5f5d3f3dcfcd6f6cded' cannot be converted to unicode from codepage '1208'.
I tried to find the solution and I found some posts about It, but they did not help.

Hi,
we set the the DB2CODEPAGE=1208 with the db2set command and now it works fine both with UTF-8 and CCSID 912 databases.
I think it not a nice solution that the DB2 does the conversion, how could I set the broker to do this?
The LANG environment variable was set, the MQSI_LOCAL_CCSID is not applicable with version 6 as I know...
