Hi All,
We are trying to install WebSphere MQ6.0 on a solaris machine and though the GSK packages are getting installed after the license is acceped the actual "mqm" package is not getting installed with the following error:
---------------------------------------------------
ERROR: Product cannot be installed until the license agreement has been accepted.
Run the 'mqlicense' script, which is in the root directory of the install media, or see the Quick Beginnings book for more information.
pkgadd: ERROR: checkinstall script did not complete successfully
Installation of <mqm> failed.
---------------------------------------------------
has anyone encountered such an error before?
Please lemee know any inputs / pointers to resolve this ASAP.

Hi,
the license was accepted and that is when the gsk packages were installed. but while installing the mqm package it gave this error.
we have also tried running the mqlicense.sh again, accept the license and only select mqm. it seems even that did not work.
please let me know your inputs asap.

And the license script works, throws no messages, etc, etc?

Hi,
The license had been accepted.

gsk7bas and gsk7bas64 are successfully installed. However, we still get the same error for mqm that the license agreement is not accepted.
We are using the following installable: C8470ML.tar.Z

I had same problems some time ago, root cause if I recall was that the license scripts was trying to update a file that was on installation CDs in order to complete(not very doable!!), I had to move files from the CD to filesystem on disk and then pointed to this directory instead of CD for install. It worked after that. It made me question if anyone had actually QAed these install CDs for Solaris??
