Some where i read we can customize the behaviour of Compute node. Shall i assume that we can customize the behaviour of any built in Node (I doubt). Has any one is having experiance in doing so? _________________ Regards,

What exactly do you mean if you say you want to customize a compute node? |

Well, you can't do that.
Use Route to Label and Label nodes instead. |

Yes u can customize. If you know the logic behind the computation then write ur own custom node to increase the output terminals.
U can't modify the Built-in nodes. _________________ With Regards,

Hi Vitor,
Not exactly the business requirement but trying to explore the technical possiblities. One of my friend told me and as far i know we can not modify built in node. So, just want to check with the Masters.
Yes, I am aware with RouteToLabel Node we can route the message to n numbers of Label node. I too will prefer RouteToLabel Node even if it is possible to modify the number of out terminals in Compute node. _________________ Regards,

You're certainly better of using the facilities supplied in terms of maintainability than using custom stuff. It's bad enough ensuring that plug-ins et al work with new versions without messing with the built in stuff.
Even if you could.
Also the business will not give a bent button for how you're routing the messages; they'll just want them routed. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Maybe "one of your friend" (who sounds very reliable), meant "PROPAGATE TO LABEL". _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
