All -

I am trying to clean up MQ integrator 2.1 on AIX. on the same server, I also have installed mq6.0. when I tried to use smit tool to unisntall wmqib.base.runtime, I got an error of "you seems to have websphere MQ integrator broker process running"... For what I know, I have mqsistop <broker> and i think I stopped everything else, but still get that error. can someone help. is there any unix command to check which broker process that it's complaining about.

Thanks in advance.

try ps -ef | grep mqsi (or if yyy if you are not running under mqsi)

and ipcs -a | grep mqsi (or if yyy if you are not running under mqsi)

this should give you a clue on the running processes for mqsi (or yyy) and the share memory allocated to these processes

Michael -

Thanks for the response. I tried both and seems like nothing were showing up.

Thanks,
