Hello:

I was wondering if the AppWatch has been successfully deployed with Tandem Wensphere port for V5.1 and V5.3. The MQ support group are trying to use this against the V5.1 and 5.3 versions and they are having issues when it tries to connect!

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Trying to have anything but MQ connect to an MQ listener on its port is a bad Idea.

If this is for a connection healthbeat you are better off using mqconnx to connect and then close the connection....

I think by port he means convertion from one platform to another rather than tcpip port.

AppWatch just uses MQ Client so does not try to do anything "bad". Not got a Tandem though - sorry.
