Hi

is there possibility to have more than one MQ Series installation on one Unix box ?? I mean two independent copies of binaries and two independent copies /var/mqm ( let say I want to keep two different versions of mq on that same box) ?? Are there any special configurations regarding this ??

Certainly not recommended (supported) even if it's possible, and I remain unconvinced it is.

I struggle to see how you'd keep the running processes separate.

this is not possible on a unix box,
the only platform supporting concurrent versions within one logical system is z/OS

I say logical system as you can have a system with 2 or more partitions or virtual systems running different levels of software...
