when I open MQSeries Services tree from MMC I can't see the Queue manger,nothing in there. also after I created a new Queue manager ,still
can't see it in the tree.
but can see it in MQSeries explorer.
please help.

What version of MQ are you running? When installing MQ did you define what services must be run? Also, did you refresh the MMC?

I am running on MQSeries 5.2.and windows 2000,when I install MQ
The MQ services ,it worked fine, I can see the MQ manager from MMC services ,after few day,I can't see MQ manager in the tree.I refreshed MMC,still has same problem. |

I have done a number of installs on W2K and have never seen this problem before - actually, come to think of it, I have never had a problem with a MQ install on W2K.
I think we should log this one with Bill Gates
Can you see the services running in task manager? In particular you should see runmqlsr and runmqchi. Have you done the classic old Windows reboot since the install? What service packs do you have installed?
If the services are running in task manager and you can accept in coming connections (try "telnet localhost 1414" from command line - should just give you a blank window) then it would seem that the MMC snap-in is acting up a bit. Not sure how to fix this except to re-install.
