Has anyone encountered issues with CSD 13 and a receiver channel with the following error message:
AMQ9588: Program cannot update queue manager object.
EXPLANATION:
The attempt to update object '%CHLBATCH.10' on queue manager
'xxxx.queue.manager' failed with reason code 2042.
ACTION:
Use the standard facilities supplied with your system to record the problem
identifier. Contact your IBM support center.
We recently turned on message persistence and upgraded to CSD13, but at the time all channels were brought down and all instances of mq were also shutdown. It has happened a few times in the last couple of days.
When this message happens, shortly after, the sender on the other end goes into a retrying mode and the message sequence numbers get all out of whack.
I put a service call into IBM, but the response I got for this issue was oh that shouldnt happen it was fixed along time ago in another CSD fixpack, monitor it and if it happens again email us. |

I agree that it shouldn't happen. Did it happen again, and did you e-mail them? |
