Here is one workarond I know
1. Extract the CSD into a directory known to you
2. set the above variable using
set MQPINUSEOK=1
3. use amqicsdn to start the installation
Run "listdlls" to check the dlls in use on the system.Collect the output into a file and search the file for mq. End (or kill) any apps with mq dlls loaded.
You may need to end all java apps. I believe all jars on the CLASSPATH are loaded into every java app at startup, so if this includes any WMQ jars then they wil be in use. _________________ MQSeries.net helps those who help themselves..
