I am tryingto install CSD 2 for MQ 6.

I am getting the "files already in use" error. I tried every thing looking at previous posts, for instance:

Code:

WebSphereMQMDV6.0.2.0EnUs.exe -a MQPINUSEOK=1

I still get the error.

Here is one workarond I know
1. Extract the CSD into a directory known to you
2. set the above variable using
set MQPINUSEOK=1
3. use amqicsdn to start the installation

I have had reasonable luck if I stop Windows Management Instrumentation services.

Run "listdlls" to check the dlls in use on the system.Collect the output into a file and search the file for mq. End (or kill) any apps with mq dlls loaded.
You may need to end all java apps. I believe all jars on the CLASSPATH are loaded into every java app at startup, so if this includes any WMQ jars then they wil be in use.
