HI
I am using message broker 5.3 on windows 2000. I am facing a problem with publish suscribe. My Broker's name is PRNBKR1 and it has only one execution group named default and some message flow deployed. I registered a susbscription on a topic 'TTPC1' with this broker. Now since I restarted this broker I am unable to deploy any bar files to the execution group. When I created a new execution group than also I am unable to deploy the bar files to this new execution group. However I was able to remove the message flows deployed in the 'default' execution group. When I saw the eventlog in the toolkit nothing was shown, but when I saw the eventviewer I saw following three error messages:
***************************************************************************************************************************
( PRNBKR1.default ) An execution group has encountered a problem whilst starting.

An execution group has encountered a problem whilst starting and is unable to continue.

Check the following error messages to try to identify the cause of the problem. If it is unclear what the cause is, and the

problem occurs continually after restarting the message broker contact your IBM support center.

***************************************************************************************************************************

( PRNBKR1.default ) Exception caught whilst loading file 'C:\IAP\base\ibm\WBIMB\bin\imbdfjps.lil', the broker will restart.

The message broker caught an exception whilst loading the implementation file 'C:\IAP\base\ibm\WBIMB\bin\imbdfjps.lil'. The

broker will restart. See the following messages for details of the error.

See your system log for other messages associated with this one to establish and correct the cause of the problem.

An unexpected exception was thrown from Java code. The detail shows the Java stack trace where the exception occurred.

This is an internal error and you should contact your IBM support center.

No its not the problem with Broker Installation because when I was facing this problem earlier I reinstalled the product but the problem still persists.

Hi Gayathri
If you have read the problem I get these error messages only when I restart the broker with subscription registered for user created topics. I came to this conclusion only after installing the product once again. I even creted a new broker and tried the same thing with it, I was getting these 3 messages for that broker also. So its definitely to do something with subscription. Moreover if you see the last message its showing some nullpointerexception being thrown at PubSubnode.java

I am not sure whether you mean broker component of WebSphere MQ v5.3 or the separate component WebSphere Business Integration Message Broker - WBIMB v5.0 because I am not aware of WBIMB v5.3. You mention v5.3 but also mention execution groups which the WMQ broker does not have...

What CSD level are you at on WMQ5.3? If it is indeed WBIMBv5.0 what fix level are you at on that.

It did a search on google for "imbdfjps site:ibm.com" (without quotes) and got only 5 hits. Do any of those help you out?

Hi John,
I am impressed. Its my mistake and sorry for that. I am using WBIMBv5.0 with fix level 5 and WMQv5.3 with CSD level 10. I have found following link which might help me in getting over this problem.

This looks like a very close match to your error. Glad that I can help out

If my memory serves me WMQ v5.3 CSD10 had some issues with Java or Java client, I believe CSDs 8,9,10 & 11 should be skipped. Go straight to at least CSD12, but I believe CSD13 is out now (if you're not suspicious)

Your memory serves you very well, though IIRC CSD 11 wasn't so bad. Latest CSD is always best though (subject to belief in unlucky numbers obviously, matter for the conscience of the individual there )
