Warning! for the faint-hearted, and those of a nervous disposition, don't even THINK of clicking into the post below. It's not something you would like to show your mother, put it like that.
For the rest of you this will probably only encourage people to click faster.
Do we REALLY need graphic images pasted direct into posts? Most pastes and quotes are pure text anyway! |

Got it. Actually that one was rather tame compared to some of the stuff I've seen lately. Since Thanksgiving I have been deleting 1 to 3 of these per day after I send the IP's to Duncan so he can block them.
Eventually we'll have ended up blocking most of China, Europe and Central America.
I can't wait for IPv6. _________________ Yes, I am an agent of Satan but my duties are largely ceremonial. |

Yes I'd like to call attention to all the help Chris has given me in fighting these spammers. I'd have to babysit this site all day long (or let you guys endure spam and porn) if it wasn't for his help and the help of others (like Michael Dag)... _________________ Brandon Duncan

Michael, I think he's referring to the link to the "racy" material, as if there weren't millions of them floating around already. What was unique about the offending post to me was that normally you have to click on the link to see the graphic content, so if you don't click, realizing what it is - you don't see it. This post took all the effort out of it and there it was plain to see in the post itself.
I don't know if the poster has noticed that it is possible to find this sort of stuff without having it inserted into a website for a different purpose. It's not as if porn sites are hidden and forbidden - but most of them apparently (so I'm told ) end up as scam sites, downloading false dialers to premium rate services, installing viruses etc - I've got a teenage son, I know what I'm talking about! |

Wait, I don't get it. From the screenshots it looks like you can only specify ONE security question. So at some point the spammer can manually visit the site, see what the question is and reprogram his bot to answer it.
Seems like you need a pool of questions to draw from randomly...
Am I missing something? _________________ Brandon Duncan
