Hi all,
I'm building a message flow, which consists of MQInput, WTXMB-PlugIn, and MQOutput node and I want the WTXMB-PlugIn node to grab an external file, change its structure, and return it to the message flow, but I'm not sure how to achieve this.
Instead of grabbing a file, WTX(map) always reads and parses MQ input message, which was the trigger message of the message flow.
Does anybody know about this?
* I set FILE as an input in the InputCard.
Env.
WMBv6+FP3
DSTXMB v8.0
WinXP
Many thanks in advance |

I believe the input to the first card is overwritten by the input to the node...
believe you need to have two cards with the second having the file input... I haven't tried lately but that's what I remember. |

Two cards,,,that's interesting.
You mean, one is for reading an external file as input, and the other one is for ??, reading a message from WMB or something?
Here, one thing I want to clarify is how WMB and WTXMB(DSTXMB) communicate each other. I can't understand this so far because it's not clearly documented.
If they communicate through MQ, I'm sure WTX map is required to have a CARD for MQ interaction.
Thanx. |

Further info.
I just added one more input card, and then, my message flow successfully received the message I had expected!! you solved my problem!
But what is the correct input rules for the first input card, which handles inbound message from WMB?
Should it be, for example, MQ?, Application??
Currently I set 'APPLICATION' and '-Dummy' in the command and in the second input card, I set FILE with the filename.
Anyway, thank you very much for everything.

it's a synchronous communication... the node uses the mercator API's under the cover...
the node input overwrites the input to the first card... |
