Hi,
I have installed Message Broker toolkit 6.0.0.2 and created one local domain with configmgr and one broker. I am able to connect the local configmgr with this toolkit but not able to connect to the remote configmgr using the toolkit. The error message is as follows;
"BIP0889E An exception occured while communicating with the configuration manager on <Configuration Manager Queue Manager name>
Reason:Message Broker Toolkit is experiencing problems communicating with the Configuration Manager on <Configuration Manager Queue Manager Name>"
What could be the solution for this? any idea?
Thanks in advance |

Try to connect to the Configmanager via the "Configuration Manager Proxy API Exerciser" It usually gets better "error codes"
Have you set up the ACL ? _________________ IBM Certified System Administrator - WebSphere MQ V6.0

Thanks everybody for the all solutions.
Using Configuration Manager proxy API the error msg is as follows :
(2/21/07 2:30:09 PM) Successfully connected to the Configuration Manager's Queue Manager.
(2/21/07 2:30:16 PM) You do not have sufficient permission defined in the Configuration Manager's access control table to do this operation.
(2/21/07 2:30:16 PM) <---- cmp.exerciser.ClassTesterForConfigManagerProxy.testConnect
The user has been added to the ACL because using the same user it is getting connected from other toolkit.
It is not getting connected from one 6.0.0.2 toolkit instance.
Any other suggestions? |

More troubleshooting.
What does the Details pane in the Toolkit show, when it gives you the error?
What is shown in .log in .metadata - anything? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
