First Test: WMQ Client and Server on my Local Windows-XP Box (WMQ 6.0.2). WLS-JMS Foreign Queue connection to Local WMQ in Binding Mode.
Result: no Problem (because no ETC is used, this Test only to be sure, that WLS-JMS to WMQ works correct)
Second Test: WMQ Client on my Local Windows-XP Box, Connect to a Qmgr on a remote Solaris Box which holds a Qmgr Version 5.3 CSD08.
Result: no Problem
I'm sure it use the ETC (and Channel-Mode) because I've had have to copy the mqetclient.jar File from a Unix box where 6.0.2 Server is installed
Also know I that the ETC must be licensed as it where a WMQ-Server.
Now my Question:
- is this "Second Test" Configuration supported? (Client side 6.0.2 with ETC, Server side 5.3 CSD08)
If it's not in the detailed system requirements for the platform, then you should ask your IBM sales rep or open a PMR. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general.
