Hi, I am trying to install the Execute Time plugin, support pac IA0A. It worked okay with MQSI V2.01, OS = NT, however with WMQI V2.1 i am receiving an operating system error (193) on loading the lil file. OS is now Windows 2000.
Has anyone experienced this? Thoughts? Comments? Something about W2K? _________________ Regards, Bob |

Are you sure you are loading the lil file under <mqsi_root>\bin on the broker. When do you get the error? While installing or accessing it? (on broker or client). |

Thank you for the reply.
Yep, it is in the correct location. I get the error when starting the broker.
( HUBX_BRKR.default ) File 'f:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ Integrator 2.1\bin\ExecuteTime.lil' could not be loaded; operating system return code '193'.
The message broker detected the loadable implementation file 'f:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ Integrator 2.1\bin\ExecuteTime.lil' but this could not be loaded by the operating system. The operating system return code was '193'.
The closest we can come to error 193 is a "bad exe". I was wondering if the support pac just did not work on W2K since it was created on NT. I was hoping someone else had got it to work or was sure it did not. _________________ Regards, Bob |

Bob,
I have used this plug-in on WIN2K box with WMQI 2.1 and it is working fine for me. I hope you did not recompile the lil file with WMQI 2.1 lib files? Pl check if there was any update released after you downloaded this supportpac from website. _________________ Kiran

As long as the files are in the corrcet location, it should not be problem. We have installed ours on W2K and did nto encounter any error.
I dont think there are new updates to this plugin.
Try deleting the files and re-installing. Goodluck and keep us posted on your resolution whenever you get to it. |

Thank you both for your responses.
I have not touched the lil file and I downloaded it first thing this morning to be sure I had the latest version. However, since both of you have it working then at least I know it DOES work. I'll keep plugging (no pun intended) away... _________________ Regards, Bob |
