That doesn't work with WebSphere Message Broker. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Hello,
( 1) Sorry for the confusion.
( 2) I rephrase my query for your advice:
- any command to check that the message broker running in z/OS is running fine and able to receive messages
Thank you and have a nice day.

Hello,
( 1) Thank you for your commands.
( 2) I would say my methods of issuing commands is not correct, I tried /f mqb3brk,mqsiservice -v mqb3brk in z/OS via console and encountered verb is unknown and etc.
( 3) Should it be issue from OMVS environment? If so, which path or directory should I issue the commands from?
( 4) Pls do advise me.
( 5) Thank you very much for helping.

I think that command only works on distributed platforms.
The info center (as has been pointed out in other posts) contains a wealth of information on this matter.
If all else fails, I would be surprised if your shop does not have monitoring software already installed which can be used for this purpose; from SMF records or similar perhaps. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
