The issue:

When I use a Java Authentication Exit running on the AIX server I see the admin server crash with a core dump. Now this exact same code works on another AIX server so I don't think it's a java code issue. It must be a configuration issue with my classpath or something. Anyone else had issues with this..

Dave:

I've not really used the exits on AIX, but on Win systems, the problem I've had with classpath was neglecting to put fmcoutil.jar in the classpath, also it must come after the jar containing your exit.

Ok. Got word from IBM

I guess this is a known issue. The quick fix is to turn on simple tracing. That did work for me.

IBM states that there is an issue with signal handling between the JVM and the fmcamain server. Service pack 3 will correct this issue.

Hope this helps the next guy..

Dave,

How do i start the simple trace?

Does this work ->fmczchk -c inst:m,FMC_SIMPLE_TRACE_ONLY,YES

Is there any syntax problem?

We are on MQWf 3.3.0 ,AIX v 4.3 and MQ 5.2

Recently we had a core dump as follows:

IBM suggested we have to upgrade to 3.3.2. and keep the trace on
Did you run into this?
