I guess you are talking about the support pack for v2.1 which did linear and circular logging into files...that was not updated for v5 or v6 and I can't find it now on the IBM webSite too...or maybe I did not look carefully...
You can use both database or MQ queues as long as u have a very good clean up solution in place. I would prefer DB to MQ...or you could write your own custom node...
If you're feeling up to snuff with your C skills, there's a new User Exit in Broker v6.0.0.1 that will let you non-invasively receive a copy of every message passing through your ysstem.
You can then use that to write to a file, and either doughnut the file yourself, or manage it with an external file roller. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general.
