Given:
Node A is z/OS 1.7, MQ v6 MQ node
Node B is AIX 1.5.3, MQ v6 MQ node
Node A has a sender to Node B
Node B has a receiver from Node A
Questions:
Is there any situation where a failure of, say a dispatcher (CHIDISP), failure on Node A could cause the sender channel on Node A to go to STOPPED state without human intervention?
Can only a human move a sender channel from RUNNING state to STOPPED state?
Is there any other non-human process that could cause a sender on Node A to go to STOPPED state?
A channel will eventually go to a STOPPED state after a long (by default) period of time in RETRYING. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general.
