Hi,
Is it possible to monitor the pending message size in a given queue in the queue manager? We are using MQ 5.3.0.12 version on Solaris.

What does it mean "pending message size"?

The size of a message that will be put on a queue?

Or the size of a message that has been put on a queue?

Or the size of ALL messages that have been put on a queue?

Or the size of the LARGEST message on the queue?

Or the *number* of messages on the queue?

the size of ALL the messages that are on the queue and not yet deleivered to the client.

Well, you can browse every message and count.

Or you can guesstimate based on # of messages and q file size.
