| Not able to install MQ on AIX 5.3 machine. |

Dear All,
I am trying to install MQ on A AIX 5.3 Machine. The issue is: we have succesfully installed the same on that box few days ago, due to some maintanence activity some of the installation folders got deleted.
So :
1. I have uninstalled the MQ components using Smitty Install.
2. Deleted the files in forlder structure /usr/mqm/temp
3. Deleted the files in folder structure /var/mqm
And again trying to install MQ using smitty install commad. i am getting following errors in my smitty log file.
This is the erro which i am getting :
"The installation of the following filesets will be CANCELLED because filesets upon which they depend are not installed(or not completely installed) "
Please explain me what this error is and what should i do to over come it.

| If I remember correctly, this was an issue with the earlier GAs of the product. Can you get a fresh copy of the software (if possible version 6) and try to do the install. |

What this is saying is that the remainder of the filesets ( those after mqm.base.runtime) are not being installed because they have a dependency on mqm.base.runtime which has failed to install.

This is the real cause of the problem - you may have corrupted media ?
